♦ Gauge block -T10466-
♦ Straightedge -T40100-
♦ Digital depth calipers, e.g. -VAS 6594- (not illustrated)
The setting engaging bearing positions for clutches “K1” and
“K2” must be adjusted after the assembly work was carried out:
♦ Clutch has been replaced
♦ Lever has been replaced
♦ Ball stud of the engaging lever for clutch “K2” has been
replaced
♦ Switch bearings have been replaced
If all the mentioned parts are only removed and reinstalled,
there is nothing to adjust.
• The circlip must be replaced under all circumstances.
Description
The position of the engagement bearing is comparable to the
clutch clearance of a manual gearbox. In the 7-gear double
clutch gearbox 0CW, there are tolerances in the engaging sys‐
tem of the gearbox and in the gearbox itself. There are also
tolerances inside the double clutch. These tolerances must be
considered separately when adjusting.
In the following procedure, you will first see how to determine
all the necessary dimensions on the gearbox side in order to
identify the suitable adjusting washers. Added to this are the
already factory-set tolerances in the coupling. The tolerances
on the gearbox side and the tolerances in the clutch determine
the thickness of the adjusting washer.
