MAINTENANCE AND TUNE-UP PROCEDURES
This section describes the servicing procedures for each
of
the
periodic maintenance requirements.

CHECK
1. Place the motor
in
a vertical position.
2.
Check
the oil level through the oil level inspection window
The
oil should
be
between the upper and lower limits.
If the level is low, add the recommended oil to the upper limit.
Recommended oil:
4
stroke

API
classification
Viscosity
rating
SE, SF, SG, SH,
SJ
SAE
10W-40
Perform the following steps in order to add the oil to the upper
limit
3.
Remove the motor cover.
4. Remove the
oil filler cap
5.
Add
the recommended engine oil until the oil level reaches
the upper
limit.
Do
not
overfill, as excessive
oil
can damage the
engine.
6.
Tighten
the oil filler cap securely.
