Remove the brake lever
@ and brake switch @.
Pull out the dust boot @ and remove the snap ring 0.
Remove the piston and return spring.

@ Secondary cup
@ Primary cup
@ Return spring
MASTER CYLINDER INSPECTION
lnspect the master cylinder bore for any scratches or other dam-
age.
lnspect the piston surface for any scratches or other damage.
lnspect the primary cup, secondary cup and dust seal for wear
or damage.
