• Inspect the gearshift cam bearing for abnormal noise and
smooth rotation.
• Replace the bearings if there is anything unusual.
• Inspect the gearshift cam bearing 1, gearshift fork bearing 2
and gearshift shaft bearing 3 for abnormal noise and smooth
rotation while they are in the crankcase.
• Replace a bearing if there is anything unusual.
Bearing removal
• Remove the gearshift fork bearing using the special tool.

09930-30102: Sliding shaft
• Remove the gearshift cam bearing using the special tools.
[ 09921-20220: Bearing remover set
09910-20115: Conrod stopper
#
* Don’t damage the crankcase by the conrod stopper.
* Be careful not to lean the bearing remover.
• Remove the oil seal.
• Remove the gearshift shaft bearing using the special tool.
