Fit the clamp to the thermostat case bolt

• Tighten the thermostat case bolt to the specified torque.

• Install the throttle body.
• Install the air cleaner box.
• Install the fuel tank. ( 4-51)
• Install the front and rear seats. ( 6-8)
• Pour engine coolant. ( 2-18)
• Install the under cowling. ( 6-5)
WATER PUMP
REMOVAL AND DISASSEMBLY
• Remove the under cowling. (6-5)
• Drain engine coolant. (2-18)
• Drain engine oil. (2-13)
NOTE:
Before draining engine oil and engine coolant, inspect engine oil
and coolant leakage between the water pump and crankcase. If
engine oil is leaking, visually inspect the oil seal and O-ring. If
engine coolant is leaking, visually inspect the mechanical seal
and seal washer. (


• Remove the reserve tank 1.
