TROUBLESHOOTING
*Check that the transmission is in neutral and the
No spark or poor spark engine stop switch is in the RUN position. Grasp
the clutch lever. Check that the fuse is not blown
and the battery is fully-charged before diagnosing.
Check the ignition system couplers for

Measure the battery voltage between
input lead wires (O/W and B/W) at the
ECM with the ignition switch in the Incorrect Faulty ignition switch
ON position. Faulty turn signal/side-stand

Correct Broken wire harness or poor
connection of related circuit
couplers
Measure the ignition coil primary peak
voltage. ( 7-23, -24) Inspect the spark plugs.
NOTE: This inspection method is
