Instructions concerning specific components
Cables, bulbs and fuses
Always observe the following instructions:
• Malfunctioning components of the electrical system must always be replaced by a
Wacker Neuson service center. Bulbs and fuses may be changed by unqualified
persons
• When performing maintenance on the electrical system, pay particular attention to
ensuring good contact in leads and fuses
• Blown fuses indicate overloading or short circuits. The electrical system must therefore
be checked before installing the new fuse
• Only use fuses with the specified load capacity (amperage)
– see chapter Fuse box in cabin on page 6-6
Alternator
Always observe the following instructions:
• Only test run the engine with the battery connected
• When connecting the battery, ensure that the poles (+/Ã) are not inverted
• Always disconnect the battery before performing welding work or connecting a quick
battery charger
• Have malfunctioning charge indicator lights immediately replaced
