■ Factory-Recommended Branch Circuit Protection
Use branch circuit protection to protect against short circuits and to maintain compliance with
UL61800-5-1. Yaskawa recommends connecting semiconductor protection fuses on the input
side for branch circuit protection. Refer to Single-Phase 200 V Class on page 176, Three-Phase
200 V Class on page 176, and Three-Phase 400 V Class on page 177 for the recommended
fuses.
