2.22 Connecting the GPS Unit
To synchronize the position measurement and clock using GPS, connect the GPS unit, sold separately,
to the GPS terminal.

CAUTION
• Attach or remove the GPS unit from the instrument with the power turned off.
• If installed indoors, place the GPS unit near a window or a location where it has a good line
of sight to GPS satellites. Otherwise, time synchronization may not work properly.

ATTENTION
• Brancher l’unité GPS à l’instrument ou l’en retirer lorsque l’appareil est hors tension.
• Si elle est installée à l’intérieur, placer l’unité GPS à proximité d’une fenêtre ou d’un endroit
où la réception des satellites GPS est bonne. Sinon, la synchronisation des durées risque
de ne pas se faire correctement.
