Connect first the positive cable
(+) and then the negative (-).
•
Cover the terminals and leads
with neutral grease or vaseline.
•
Correctly place the coolant liq-
uid expansion tank (2).
•
Screw and lock in place the
screw (3).
•
Lower and lock in the fuel tank
in place.
•
Brancher d'abord le câble positif
(+) puis le câble négatif (-).
•
Recouvrir les terminaux et les
bornes avec de la graisse neu-
tre ou de la vaseline.
•
Positionner correctement le va-
se d'expansion du liquide de re-
froidissement (2).
•
Visser et serrer la vis (3).
•
Baisser et bloquer le réservoir
de carburant.
Electrolyte level check (04_16)
To check the electrolyte level:
•
Lift up the fuel tank.
•
Keep the vehicle upright, with
both wheels resting on the
ground.
•
Check that the level of the liquid
is between the two indicators
'MIN' and 'MAX', stamped on
the side of the battery.
Otherwise:
•
Remove the battery.
•
Remove the caps from the ele-
ments.
IMPORTANT
TO TOP OFF THE ELECTROLYTE LIQ-
UID USE ONLY DISTILLED WATER.
Verification du niveau de
l’electrolyte (04_16)
Pour le contrôle du niveau d'électrolyte:
•
Soulever le réservoir de carbu-
rant.
•
Maintenir le véhicule en position
verticale avec les deux roues
placées au sol.
•
Contrôler que le niveau du liqui-
de de frein soit compris entre les
deux encoches « MIN » et «
MAX », estampillées sur le côté
de la batterie.
Autrement:
•
Déposer la batterie.
•
Extraire les bouchons des élé-
ments.
