Rear brake pedal adjustment

The brake pedal (5) is ergonomically
positioned when the vehicle is construct-
ed. If necessary, the height of the brake
pedal (5) can be personalized:
•
Loosen the locknut (1).
•
Completely unscrew the brake
adjuster (2).
•
Completely screw in the locknut
(3) on the pump drive rod (4).
•
Completely screw in the pump
drive rod (4) and then loosen it
by 3 or 4 turns.
•
Tighten the brake adjuster (2)
until the brake lever (5) is at the
desired height.
•
Block the brake adjuster (2) us-
ing the locknut (1).
•
Unscrew the pump drive rod (4)
and place it in a position where
it touches the pump piston.
•
Screw in the pump drive rod so
as to guarantee a minimum
clearance of 0.020 - 0.040 in
(0,5 - 1 mm) between the pump
drive rod (4) and the pump pis-
ton.
MAKE SURE THAT THE LEVER HAS
ALL OF ITS PLAY, TO BE SURE THAT
THE BRAKE DOES NOT REMAIN AC-
TIVATED, WHICH CAN CAUSE PRE-

La pédale de frein (5) a été positionnée
de manière ergonomique en phase d'as-
semblage du véhicule. Si nécessaire, on
peut toutefois personnaliser la hauteur
de la position de la pédale de frein (5) :
•
Desserrer le contre-écrou (1).
•
Dévisser complètement le régu-
lateur du frein (2).
•
Serrer complètement le contre-
écrou (3) sur la tige de comman-
de de la pompe (4).
•
Serrer complètement la tige de
commande de la pompe (4),
puis la dévisser de 3-4 tours.
•
Serrer le régulateur du frein (2)
jusqu'à porter la pédale de frein
(5) à la hauteur souhaitée.
•
Bloquer le régulateur du frein (2)
à l'aide du contre-écrou (1).
•
Dévisser la tige de commande
de la pompe (4) et la porter en
contact avec le piston de la
pompe.
•
Revisser la tige pour garantir un
jeu minimum de 0,020 - 0,040 in
(0,5 - 1 mm) entre la tige de
commande de la pompe (4) et le
piston de la pompe.
