IMPORTANT
WITH THE SIDE STAND LOWERED,
THE ENGINE CAN ONLY BE STARTED
UP IF THE GEAR SHIFT IS IN NEU-
TRAL. IN THIS CASE IF AN ATTEMPT
TO INSERT A GEAR IS TRIED, THE
ENGINE WILL TURN OFF.
WITH THE SIDE STAND RAISED, IT IS
POSSIBLE TO START UP THE ENGINE
EITHER WITH THE GEAR SHIFT IN
NEUTRAL OR WITH A GEAR SELECT-
ED AND THE CLUTCH LEVER ENGAG-
ED.

CAS, SI ON ESSAYE DE PASSER UNE
VITESSE, LE MOTEUR S'ÉTEINT.
LA BÉQUILLE LATÉRALE SOULE-
VÉE, IL EST POSSIBLE DE DÉMAR-
RER LE MOTEUR LORSQUE LE SÉ-
LECTEUR DE VITESSES EST AU
POINT MORT OU LORSQU'UNE VI-
TESSE EST PASSÉE ET QUE LE LE-
VIER D'EMBRAYAGE EST ACTIONNÉ.

•
Put the stand in place.
•
Mount the vehicle in driving po-
sition.
•
Turn the key, and turn the igni-
tion switch to "key on."
•
Block at least one wheel, by ac-
tivating a brake lever.
•
Position the gear shift to idle
(green light illuminated).
•
Replier la béquille.
•
Monter sur le véhicule en posi-
tion de conduite.
•
Tourner la clé et positionner l'in-
terrupteur d'allumage sur « key
on ».
•
Bloquer au moins une roue, en
actionnant un levier de frein.
•
Positionner le levier de com-
mande de la boîte de vitesses
au point mort (voyant vert allu-
mé).
•
Turn the engine stop switch (1)
to 'key on.'
•
Positionner l'interrupteur d'arrêt
moteur (1) sur « key on ».
