authentication (L2TP)
To enable L2TP authentication for a specified L2TP class name, use the authentication command in L2TP
class configuration mode. To return to the default behavior, use the no form of this command.

Usage Guidelines
To use this command, you must be in a user group associated with a task group that includes appropriate task
IDs. If the user group assignment is preventing you from using a command, contact your AAA administrator
for assistance.
You can also enable L2TP authentication for a specified class name from L2TP class configuration
submode. To enter this submode, enter the l2tp-class command followed by the class name.

The following example shows how to configure L2TP authentication for the specified L2TP class name
“cisco”:
RP/0/0/CPU0:router# configure
RP/0/0/CPU0:router(config)# l2tp-class cisco
RP/0/0/CPU0:router(config-l2tp-class)# authentication
