Using the Optional Network Image
Express Card
Installing the Network Image Express Card
The EPSON Network Image Express Card (B808392) lets you use
your scanner over a network without having to connect the
scanner to a server PC.
For details on using the card, see the documentation that came
with it.

Caution:
❏ Do not install any other optional card in your scanner, or
you may damage your scanner.
❏ To use the Network Image Express Card, disconnect the USB
cable from the scanner; otherwise the scanner may not work
properly.
❏ Do not connect the USB cable while an Ethernet cable is
already connected to the RJ-45 connector on the Network
Image Express Card.
1. Turn off the scanner.

Caution:
Do not install or uninstall the Network Image Express Card
while the scanner is turned on; otherwise damage may occur.
2. Unplug the power cord and disconnect all the cables from
your scanner. (Do not disconnect the cable securing the ADF
to your scanner.)
