You can confirm differences in tension by lightly
tapping both edges of the media as shown in the
illustration below.

Continue holding down the d button until both
edges of the media reach the paper core and wrap
around once or twice.
Settings for Loaded Media
When you have finished loading the media, follow the
instructions on the control panel to make settings for
the loaded media.
1. Select the media setting number
Select the media setting number to which the print
settings have been registered.
2. Select the roll winding specifications
Select the roll type for the loaded media roll.
3. Set the media length
Set the length of the loaded media.

Use the d/u buttons to select the media setting
number to which the print settings have been
registered, and then press the Z button.

Select Media
If media settings have not yet been made for new
media, select an unassigned number, finish
loading the media, and then perform Easy Media
Setup.
