2.3 How to Preset Scales/Indications
You can preset the scales/indications for time, ship’s speed, HDG (heading)/COG
(course over the ground) and wind speed/direction. You can change the scale/indica-
tion with the MODE key of the RD-501 (see section 2.16).
1. Press the MENU/ESC key to open the menu.
2. Press S or T key to select [Scale Set Up] and press the ENT key.

3. Press S or T key to select [Mode] and press the ENT key.

4. Press S or T key to select [DISP1 (2, 3, 4 or 5)], for which you preset the scales/
indications, and press the ENT key.
