WALKIE TALKIE
This feature allows a pair of handsets to be used like walkie talkies
(electrical power to the base unit is not required for walkie talkie
operation). This setting may be made with the handset only. Make sure
both handsets are at the main menu.
1. On both handsets, press the cid/vol ( or ) button to scroll to
WALKIE TALKIE
.
2. On both handsets, press the OK soft key and
WALKIE TALKIE ENABLE?
shows in the display.
3. On both handsets, press the OK soft key and
WALKIE TALKIE
ENABLED
followed by
WALKIE TALKIE HANDSET# shows
in the display.
NOTE: Both handsets must be in walkie talkie mode to send and receive.
4. Press the page/int button on either handset, and then enter the handset
number/extension you want to call. The selected handset is paged.
When the page/int or TALK button on the receiving handset is pressed,
and the page is answered, the walkie talkie feature is activated between
both handsets. Both handsets display
