3-7-6-5 Syslog
Use Syslog to customize where to draw information from for the Audit Report. It is also possible to
connect to a centralized logging database to monitor for pattern analysis. This way, if the Ultrasound
system is compromised, the data can be analyzed for incident response.
NOTE: The Syslog option key needs to be installed to enable the Syslog page.

Navigate to Connectivity > Connection Manager > Special Devices.

Select Syslog.

In Server IP Address/Hostname, enter the IP address of the server.
4.
Under Mode of Transfer, select the mode of transferring data to the server (UDP, TCP, or TLS).

In UDP Listener Port User, enter the Datagram Protocol Listener Port. This is the port which we transfer logging data to use the syslog data
protocol. It can be done by UDP or TCP, depending on the configuration of the customer logging server.
6.
Select Ping.
NOTE: Ping Status Indicates whether the connection has been confirmed or not.
