Introduction Although the XDP is set up at the factory with default values that are
suitable for the intended application, the User Program provides a
means for customizing many of the meter parameters. Proper setup of
the system is very important to ensure accurate data readings. The
following procedures are described in this chapter:
!WARNING!
To ensure safe operation of the XDP, it must be installed
and operated as described in this manual. In addition, be
sure to follow all applicable local safety codes and
regulations for installing electrical equipment. In addition,
all procedures should be performed by trained service
personnel.
• selecting the active curve
• switching display windows
• adjusting the display contrast
• setting the display backlight
• setting the fault alarm
• setting up the analog output
• setting up the serial port
• calibrating the system
Note: While in the User Program, press
[ESC] at any time to abort the
current operation and move back up one menu level.
Access the User Program as described on page 3-4, and refer to the
menu maps in Figure C-1 on page C-1 and Figure C-2 on page C-2.
At the following screen, enter the operator-level password. [The
default password is 2719].
You will now be at the main menu screen. Proceed directly to the
appropriate section to perform the desired programming task.
