Channel Zero Encoding
Sometimes you need to get a remote view of many channels in real time from web browser or CMS (Client
Management System) software, in order to decrease the bandwidth requirement without affecting the image quality,
channel-zero encoding is supported as an option for you.
Configure the Channel Zero Encoding:
1. Click Menu> Configuration> Live View to enter the Live View Settings interface.
2. Select the Channel Zero Encoding tab.

3. Check the checkbox after Enable Channel Zero Encoding.
4. Configure the Frame Rate and Max. Bitrate.
The video source of channel zero is from video Main CVBS output, and you are allowed to configure the video
divisions, camera order and dwell time for channel zero.
Notes:
1. The channel zero encoding can be enabled only when the VGA output resolution is set to 1024 × 768.
2. The channel zero does not support sub stream, and only the main stream is available.
