Hitachi machine models are classified into 5 classes and 1
model as shown in the table below. When referring to the texts
and/or illustrations indicated with the applicable machine
class names in this manual, check that the machine models
concerned are included using this table.

CHECK THE HOUR METER REGULARLY
• Intervals on the periodic maintenance chart are for oper-
ating in normal conditions. If you operate your machine
in more adverse conditions, you should service it at
SHORTER INTERVALS.
• Lubricate, make service checks and adjustments at in
-
tervals shown on periodic maintenance guide table (see
page 7-4 and 7-5).
USE CORRECT FUELS AND LUBRICANTS
IMPORTANT: Always use recommended fuels and lubri-
cants.
Failure to do so will result in machine dam-
age and loss of Hitachi product warranty.
