9.3.2Advanced Functional Test
1. Ensure the area is gas free.
2. Ensure the receiver window is clean.
3. Switch on the IS Handheld Unit and start the Honeywell Fixed Platform App.
4. Connect the App to the receiver to be tested.
5. Go to Maintenance menu, tap on Bump Test.
6. You will be prompted to confirm that receiver is to be switched to Inhibit mode. Tap on OK.
7. You will be prompted to confirm that receiver windows are clean. Tap on WINDOWS ARE CLEAN, PROCEED.
8. You will be informed that zeroing was automatically performed. Tap on OK, PROCEED.
9. Depending on the profile you are logged in either REGULAR or EXPERT testing will be performed.
REGULAR USER
1. Slide the LOW TEST FILTER into the cowling at the front of the receiver.
2. Tap on AREA IS GAS FREE, PROCEED. Low test reading is performed.
3. If low test reading IS within the typical response, the test has passed. You will be prompted to remove the Low Test Filter
from the receiver. Tap on PROCEED TO HIGH TEST.
4. If low test reading IS NOT within the typical response, the test has failed. Subsequently you can:
TEST AGAIN
Proceed anyway (with High Test)
CLEAN AND ZERO
5. When finished with testing remove the Low Test Filter from the cowling.
6. Slide the HIGH TEST FILTER into the cowling at the front of the receiver
7. Follow instructions and repeat the same procedure for HIGH TEST reading.
8. When finished with testing remove the High Test Filter from the cowling. Tap on CREATE REPORT.
9. A test report will be logged, retrievable from Reports/Bump Tests menu.
EXPERT USER
1. Slide the LOW TEST FILTER into the cowling at the front of the receiver.
2. Tap on AREA IS GAS FREE, PROCEED. Low test reading is performed.
3. Current reading data (in LEL.m) will be shown as well Initial Reading (LEL.m) and Typical Response (LEL.m)
4. Tap on PROCEED.
5. If low test reading IS within the typical response, the test has passed. You will be prompted to remove the Low Test Filter
from the receiver. Tap on PROCEED TO HIGH TEST.
6. If low test reading IS NOT within the typical response, the test has failed. Subsequently you can:
TEST AGAIN
Proceed anyway (with High Test)
CLEAN AND ZERO
7. When finished with testing remove the Low Test Filter from the cowling.
8. Slide the HIGH TEST FILTER into the cowling at the front of the receiver
9. Follow instructions and repeat the same procedure for HIGH TEST reading.
10. When finished with testing remove the High Test Filter from the cowling. Tap on CREATE REPORT.
11. A test report will be logged, retrievable from Reports/Bump Tests menu.
