NOTE The Rates available are dependent on the HP 37718A/19A option
Description
The Receiver Equalization is checked by looping the transmitter output
to receiver input through a special Cable. This simulates the specified
cable loss at the rate under test. A BER measurement is run and a check
made for no errors in the results page.

E2 - 8.448 Mb/s 6dB for root f cable at 1/2 bit rate
E3 - 34.368 Mb/s 12dB for root f cable at 1/2 bit rate
E4 - 139.264 Mb/s 12dB for root f cable at 1/2 bit rate
DS1- 1.544 Mb/s Single range from DS1-LO to DSX -1
DS3 - 44.736 Mb/s Automatic equalization for up to 900
feet of root f cable.
