Installing the rollers
This section provides the information needed to install all the rollers in a fiscal or fiscal ready printer. If you
are installing only the bottom four rollers begin at step 2.
To install the rollers, complete the following steps:
1. Orient the printer unit with the paper cutter closest to you.
2. Install the four lower rollers (B in Figure 35):
a. Orient the roller with the large gap to the left.
b. Insert the opposite end of the roller into the mounting hole on the right side of the printers frame.
c. Bend the left side of the roller slightly and insert it into the mounting hole.
d. Repeat steps 2a through 2c for each of the remaining rollers.
3. Install the upper roller (A in Figure 35):
a. Align one end of the roller with a mounting hole.
b. Push the two sides of the frame apart and insert the opposite end of the roller into the mounting
hole.
4. Install both the paper door and main covers (see “Removing the paper door cover” on page 41 and
“Removing the main cover” on page 44 for instructions).
5. If necessary, install the fiscal tray (see “Installing the fiscal tray” on page 29 for information).
