2-8. Replacing the Nozzle Outer Shaft Assembly
Since the nozzle outer shaft assembly has been assembled to the spline shaft at a position where
the run-out is minimized, always remove the nozzle outer shaft assembly with great care. (Unlike
the conventional machine, it is not necessary to remove the nozzle outer shaft assembly when
performing the maintenance work of the filter.)
(1) Loosen the nozzle outer shaft mounting screw to detach the nozzle outer shaft.
(2) When attaching the nozzle outer shaft, mount it with the same orientation and fix it with the
mounting screw.
(3) If you attach a new nozzle outer shaft, follow the procedure below.
<Procedure>
c Attach the jig nozzle to the head.
d Place a dial gauge over the jig nozzle and check that the run-out of the nozzle outer shaft is
within 0.02 mm.
 Tighten the nozzle outer shaft mounting screw with a tightening torque of 0.5 Nm.
