5-18. Replacing the STBL Encoder
(1) Detach the support table in the same manner as described in section 5-17, Replacing the STBL
motor.
(2) Loosen the fixing screws d and move the encoder unit assembly c to loosen the tension of the
timing belt. Take out the encoder unit assembly.
(3) Loosen the screw attached to the encoder (set screw e) and fixing screws f to detach the
encoder.
Reassemble the components in the order of steps (3) to (1).
Adjust the flatness of the support table as described in 5-17 “Replacing the STBL Motor.”
After the components have been reassembled, obtain the support table offset from MS parameters.
