2-4-2. Replacing the FMLA
After the FMLA has been replaced, it is absolutely necessary to re-input the MS parameters related
to the laser. (See section 2-9.)
After the LA sensor has been replaced, wipe the laser window on the LA sensor with clean wastes,
etc.
(1) Remove the diffuser base mounting screws c and d (4 pcs.) and disconnect the LA cable
connectors e (3 pcs.) from the sensor.
(2) Remove the sensor mounting screws f (4 pcs.) to detach the sensor.
(3) Reassemble the components in the reverse
order of disassembly.

(4) When attaching the diffuser base, make the
adjustment so that nozzle outer is not in contact
with Φ17 hole in the diffuser when the nozzle
outer shaft IC is rotated 360°, and then tighten
the diffuser mounting screws.
When attaching the sensor, insert the
pin into the sensor positioning hole first.
Then fix the sensor.
Apply Loctite 242 to the sensor
mounting screws f (4 pcs.) and tighten
them with a tightening torque of 2.3 Nm.
