14-6. Z-θ Unit
The Z-θ unit is composed of an AC servo driver that drives the Z/θ-axes.
14-6-1. Structure of Z-θ Unit
In the AC servo driver for the Z-θ unit, one driver can drive 4 axes. Therefore, 2 drivers are installed
in KE-2050/2050R/2055R while 3 drivers are installed in KE-2060/2060R. Mount a blank panel in
the vacant slot in KE-2050/2050R/2055R.
Additionally, mount a 5-phase step driver for backup, HX004200000 (or HX005450000 for an EN
machine), in the same rack. Figure 14-6-1-1 shows the relationship between the motors and
drivers.
