Model 2100 6 1/2-Digit Resolution Digital Multimeter User’s Manual Section 4: Front Panel Operations
To set Auto Zero and Auto Gain from the front panel:
1. Press the MENU key on the multimeter front panel.
2. Using the PREV and NEXT keys, select SET ADC, then press the ENTER key.
3. Select either ZERO or GAIN (using the PREV and NEXT keys), then press the ENTER key.
4. Select either the AUTO ZERO or AUTO GAIN option, then press the ENTER key.
5. Select either ON or OFF and press the ENTER key.
Please refer to Figure 4-1 for the location of these front panel keys.

MENU SET ADC GAIN AUTO GAIN {ON|OFF}
NOTE To change the resolution, refer to “Resolution setting (digits).”

To set Auto Zero and Auto Gain from the remote interface:
To set Auto Zero and Auto Gain through the remote interface, use the following commands:
SENSe:ZERO:AUTO {OFF|ONCE|ON}
SENSe:GAIN:AUTO {OFF|ONCE|ON}
The OFF and ONCE parameters have a similar effect. Auto Zero OFF or Auto Gain OFF doesn't
issue a new offset measurement. However, Auto Zero ONCE or Auto Gain ONCE issues an
immediate offset measurement.
