– Insert the screw and first turn counterclockwise until it
engages in the thread with a small jerk. Tighten the screw
lightly.

– Install the Powerpack HV. ( p. 109)
– Lock the seat. ( p. 69)
– Check that the turn signal system is functioning properly.
16.9 Checking the headlight setting

– Position the vehicle upright on a horizontal surface in front of
a light wall and make a mark at the height of the center of the
low beam headlight.

– The rider now sits down on the motorcycle with a full set of
protective clothing.
– Turn the ignition key in the ignition lock to the position .
– Push the main switch into position .
– Switch on the low beam.
– Check the headlight setting.
The boundary between light and dark must be exactly on the
lower marking for a motorcycle with rider.
» If the boundary between light and dark does not meet
specifications:
