10.1 Firmware Update
NOTICE
A firmware update on the CMS concerns the respective firmware numbers of the entire sys-
tem. All CMS components used must be observed. Only versions that are compatible within
the system may be put into operation.
NOTICE
Only LAMTEC is authorised to configure the appropriate software package for an update of
the components.
The safety functions are no longer guaranteed if software versions that differ or do not corre-
spond together are used.
During a firmware update, parameters can be omitted or added. This leads to a change in the
CRC checksums of all release levels. This change is documented in the software.
Establish connection between PC and CMS
1. Connect the PC to CMS
NOTICE
The IP addresses must not be equal.
The IP addresses must be in the same subnet.
Factory setting: 192.168.001.111 – 255.255.255.0
2. Open the CMS Remote Software.
