12.4.1 Power Supplies
Measurement of the combustion process characteristics:
This must be documented by measuring the characteristic values for an operation
of the furnace at the shut off limits of the ratio control, as well as the set limits of
the correction circuits (e.g. an O
2
trim) see chapter 2 Safety.
The combustion is safe at maximum correctional intervention.
The tolerance time for a deviation between the setpoint and actual value of an
actuator greater than B-Band has been set to 3 s by default for the electronic ratio
control (see prEN12067:2012).
Each actuator is then checked that it does not cause any dangerous process con-
dition at its max. speed within 3 s.
Safe burner operation is checked taking into account of the system tolerances
(notes in prEN 12067-2-2012 Annex CC).
Combustion values (exhaust gas measurement) have been checked and cor-
rected where necessary
* If any servo motors not mentioned in the test report are used, an assessment of the input of the alternative servo motors shall
be available.
