9.2 Poor cleaning result
Possible cause Remedy
The dishes do not get clean.
No or low detergent dosing
Set the dosing amount as per the
manufacturer’s specifications ( 12.6).
Check the dosing lines (for kinks,
breakage, ...)
Exchange the container, if empty.
Dishes incorrectly sorted Do not stack dishes one over the other.
Nozzles of the spray arms
blocked
Remove the spray arms and clean the
nozzles ( 8.2).
Temperatures too low Test the temperatures ( 10).
Excessive dirt Pre-rinse dishes.
Deposits form on the dishes.
In case of limescale deposits:
The water is too hard
Check the water preparation.
Carry out basic cleaning.
With starch deposits:
Temperature of the manual pre-
cleaning (spray) is higher than
30 °C
Lower the temperature of the manual pre-
cleaning.
Carry out the basic cleaning programme
( 12.5.2).
The dishes do not dry on their
own.
No or low rinse aid dosing
Set the dosing amount as per the
manufacturer’s specifications ( 12.6).
Check the dosing lines (for kinks,
breakage, ...)
Exchange the container, if empty.
Rinse temperature too low Contact an authorised service technician.
For machines without an internal water softener:
INFO The water quality affects the washing and drying performance. We therefore recommend from a
total hardness of more than 3° dH (0.53 mmol/l) that the machine is supplied with softened water.
