9. Install wheel and four wheel nuts. Torque wheel nuts
to specification.
TORQUE
Wheel Nuts:
120 ft-lbs (163 Nm)
10.Rotate wheel and check for smooth operation.
REAR DRIVE SHAFT REMOVAL
1. Raise and support the vehicle.
CAUTION
This is an ALL new procedure. Follow instructions
closely. Failure to follow instructions may result in
severe vehicle damage.
CAUTION
Serious injury may result if machine tips or falls. Be
sure machine is secure before beginning this
procedure. Always wear eye protection.
2. Remove the four wheel nuts and rear wheel.
3. Remove the cotter pin

and loosen the rear wheel
hub castle nut
w
. Remove the nut, and cone washer
e
from the rear wheel hub assembly. Discard cotter
pin, castle nut, and cone washer.
IMPORTANT
Cotter pin, castle nut, and cone washer are not
reusable.
4. Remove the lower radius rod outer mounting bolt

,
nut and washer from the bearing carrier. Swing radius
rod down. Discard the nut.
5. Remove upper radius rod outer mounting bolt
i
, nut
and washer from the bearing carrier. Swing radius rod
away, and discard the nut.
FINAL DRIVE
