Connections & Setup
Front Panel Buttons
Note that front panel buttons are nonfunctional when Child Lock is on.
1. DVD deck Use to insert DVDs and CDs.
2. DVD Open/Close button Press to open and close the disc tray.
3. VCR deck Use to insert videotapes.
4. RECORD button Press to begin recording.
5. VCR EJECT button Press to remove the videotape from the VCR deck.
6. POWER button Press to turn the power on and off.
7. REWIND/REVERSE button Press to move to the beginning of the preceding title, chapter,
or track of a disc, and the beginning of a videotape. Press and hold to reverse through a
DVD or CD. When in the DVD/VCR menu system, press to select an item.
8. PLAY button Begins playback (and closes the DVD deck if open). During playback,
pauses the playback. When in the DVD/VCR menu system, press to scroll the arrow up.
9. STOP button Press to stop playback. When in the DVD/VCR menu system, press to scroll
the arrow down.
10. FAST FORWARD/FORWARD button Press to move to the beginning of the next title,
chapter, or track of a disc, or the beginning of a videotape. Press and hold to forward a
DVD or CD.
11. DVD/VCR SELECT button Press to switch between decks. When in the menu system,
press to select an item.
12. Front panel display Shows the status of the decks.
13. CHANNEL +/- and TRACKING buttons Press to change the channel or manually adjust
the tracking.
14. TV/VCR button Press to switch between TV and VCR modes.
15. Tape Speed button Press to adjust the tape recording speed.
16. Set Up button Press to display the DVD/VCR menu system.
17. Input button Press to change the input source.
