Playing DVDs
Zooming In and Out
You can zoom in at 2 or 4 times the normal magnification while watching a DVD. To do this:
1. During DVD playback, press the ZOOM button. A small picture of a magnifying glass will be
displayed on the screen.
2. Use the up, down, right, and left arrow buttons to move the magnifying glass to the area you
want to magnify.
3. Press SETUP/ENTER repeatedly to zoom in at 2X, 4X, 2X, and normal magnification.
Viewing a Different Angle
If a small picture of a film camera appears on the front display during playback, you can view the
same scene from different perspectives, or angles, while watching. To do this:
1. Check for the small picture of a film camera on the front panel.
2. Press the ANGLE button on the remote.
3. Use the up and down arrows to select one of the available screen angles.
Using Subtitles
Many DVDs provide subtitles in one or more languages. To view and select subtitle options:
1. During playback, press the SUBTITLE button on the remote.
2. Use the up and down arrows to select a language.
3. Use the left and right buttons to turn subtitles on and off.
4. Press SETUP/ENTER to confirm your selection.
