Playing the Chapters in Random Order
You can set a random order for playback of chapters or tracks on a DVD or CD.
1. After the disc is stopped, press MODE on the remote.
2. Use the up and down buttons to point to Random Play. Then press the
right arrow button to select. The disc will automatically play in random
order.
Note:: To stop random playback, press the CLEAR button twice.
Creating Your Own Chapter Order
The Programmed Play option lets you set up a specific order to play back the
chapters on a disc.
1. Stop the disc and press the MODE button on the remote.
2. Use the up and down arrows to point to Programmed Play and press the
right arrow to select it.
3. Use the up and down arrows to select the first chapter or track in your
revised playback list, then press SETUP/ENTER.
4. Use the up and down arrows to select the remaining chapters or tracks,
pressing SETUP/ENTER after each selection.
5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play your customized chapter order.
Note: To cancel Programmed Play, stop the disc and press the POWER button
on the remote.
All programmed chapters are deleted when the disc is removed or the DVD
player is turned off.
Using the Counter
You can view the counter position during DVD or CD playback on the screen
by pressing the DISPLAY button on the remote. The counter position indicator
is labeled Time.
You can view the current time and the current counter position on the front
panel display by pressing the CLOCK/COUNTER button.
