Chapter 2 Prepare the Computer and Load Controller Firmware
Set the IP Address for the Computer
Required for all controllers, regardless of network choice
1. On your desktop, right-click My
Network Places and select
Properties.
2. Double-click the Local Area
Connection.
3. Click Properties.
4. On the General tab, select Internet
Protocol (TCP/IP) and click
Properties.
5. Select Use the following IP address
and enter an IP address and Subnet
mask for your computer using the
example shown or enter your own
address.

.
6. Click OK.
7. Record the IP address and subnet mask in the Network Worksheet on the back cover.
8. Click OK.
