Configure the DeviceNet Network Chapter 8
Create a DeviceNet Configuration File
1. Select File>New.
2. Click the Who Active
button to go online.
3. Under AB_DF-1, expand
the 1768-L43 Backplane
and the 1769
CompactBus.
4. Expand the 1769-SDN
Scanner Module and
select the DeviceNet
port, then click OK.
5. Record the slot number
of the 1769-SDN module
in Appendix A
.
In this example, the
1769-SDN is in slot 1 of
the 1769 Bus and node 1
of the DeviceNet
network.
