Mount and Connect the Network Adapter
1734-AENT EtherNet/IP Adapter for EtherNet/IP System
1. Locate the Ethernet
Address (MAC) and the
major revision on the
POINT Adapter and
record both in Appendix
A.
The address is used to set
the IP address.
2. Set the address to a value
greater than or equal to
256.
This example uses 999.
3. Remove the protective
cover from the right side
of the adapter.
4. Press the adapter onto
the DIN rail.
5. Connect an Ethernet
cable between the
Ethernet connector on
the adapter and the
Ethernet switch.
