8. Reconnect the bottom burner gas supply to the top burner
gas supply and to the gas valve.
9. Open the gas isolating valve.
10. Start the burner and check for leaks.
11. Change the gas type parameters on the controller for the
ROTEX GW as follows:
Ɣ Activate the heating technician level (see chapter 6.5.3)
Ɣ Select parameter P651 with the buttons / .

Ɣ Push the button briefly to leave the input.
12. Set burner (see chapter 7.3.2).
– If necessary, adapt the output limiter for the heating mode
(see tab. 6-4, parameter P541).
13. A gas type changeover and the adjusted thermal load must
be entered on the settings type plate and in the operating
manual and confirmed with signature.
14. Refit all the cladding panels (see chapter 4.9.3).
7.3.5 Adjusting the output limits and the starting
output
A targeted output setting is achieved by determination of the
desired relative burner output:
(see also fig. 12-2 and tab. 12-6)
Limiting the maximum burner output
The limiting of the maximum burner output in the operating mode
"room heating" can, for example, be useful if there are more
favourable tariffs for lower installed outputs.
Ɣ Activate the heating technician level (see chapter 6.5.3)
Ɣ Select parameter P541 with the buttons / .
Ɣ Press the button briefly to change the parameter.
Ɣ Set the relative burner output with the buttons / .
Ɣ Push the button briefly to save the change.
Ɣ Push the button briefly to leave the heating technician
level and to switch back to the basic display.
Ɣ Enter the output change on the settings type plate and in the
operating manual and confirm with signature.
Increasing the minimum burner output and starting
output
Under unfavourable circumstances you may get whistling noises,
starting problems, flame disconnection or similar operational diffi-
culties. In these cases, increasing the lower output limit and the
starting speed can provide a remedy.
Ɣ Activate the heating technician level (see chapter 6.5.3)
Ɣ Select parameter P683 with the buttons / .
Ɣ Press the button briefly to change the parameter.
Ɣ Use the buttons / to set the percentage increase
in minimum and start outputs.
Ɣ Push the button briefly to save the change.
Ɣ Push the button briefly to leave the heating technician
level and to switch back to the basic display.
Ɣ Enter the output change on the settings type plate and in the
operating manual and confirm with signature.
