10.1 Recipes
Overview
Recipes are a collection of associated data, e.g. machine configuration or production data.
You can transfer this data from the HMI device to the controller in a single step in order to
change the production variant. If you have programmed directly at the machine you can
transfer the data to your HMI device and write it to the recipe.
Operating recipes in Runtime
WinCC flexible offers two options for viewing and editing recipes and their corresponding
recipe data records in Runtime on the HMI device:
• Recipe view
• Recipe screen
