Lubrication System
Oil change intervals can vary depending on oil grade
and sulphur content of the fuel, please refer to
Viscosity, page 138.
Oil change intervals must never exceed a period of 12
months.
If you want longer oil change intervals than stated in
the table Viscosity, page 138, the condition of the oil
must be checked by the oil manufacturers through
regular oil testing.
Oil level, checking and topping up
The oil level must be inside the marked area on the
dipstick (1) and should be checked daily before the first
start.
Top up the oil through the filling hole on the side of the
engine (2). Check that the correct level has been
achieved. Wait a few minutes to allow the oil to run
down into the sump.
IMPORTANT:
Do not fill up above the maximum oil level. Only use a
recommended grade of oil.
