5.3 Functional description
The water-cooled drive motor in the upper mass hydraulically drives both
vibrators of the base plate.
Both exciters are designed as central vibrators. The principle allows you to
change the direction of vibration, and thus the movement of the machine, by
adjusting the eccentric weights. Each exciter can be set for advance travel,
reverse travel, or stand vibration independently of the other exciter.
The radiator cools both the drive motor coolant and the hydraulic oil.
The intake air is drawn in in the cold area between the radiator and the back
protective hood and purified via an air cleaner with preseparation.
