10.3 Malfunction messages of the receiver units
Malfunction Cause Remedy
Receiver units are lit in yellow.
Machine does not react to
remote control commands.
Remote control is turned off. Turn on remote control.
Remote control battery is
discharged.
Recharge or change remote
control battery.
Remote control is defective. Change remote control or have
remote control repaired. *
The remote control is set to the
wrong transmission channel.
Set transmission channel.
User is outside of the receiving
area.
Enter the receiving area of the
machine.
No visual contact between
remote control and receiver
unit.
Establish visual contact with the
receiver unit.
Receiver units or remote control
are dirty.
Clean remote control and
receiver units.
Decoder, receiver unit or
electrical connection is
defective.
Have the machine repaired.*
* Have these tasks carried out by the service department of your Wacker Neuson contact person.
Receiver units flash in yellow at
fast intervals.
Machine does not react to
remote control commands.
User is in the proximity area. Leave the machine's proximity
area.
Receiver units are lit in red. Machine is warming up. Wait until the machine has
finished warming up.
Diagnostic system has detected
an error.
Check control lamps and
malfunction messages on
display screen.
Receiver units flash red. Machine is overloaded as
ground cannot be further
compacted.
Avoid operating on ground
that cannot be further
compacted.
Reduce compacting
performance by tilting the
remote control lever less.
Switch from fast to slow
operation.
