10.2 Machine malfunctions
Malfunction Cause Remedy
Engine does not start. Emergency stop switch was
pressed.
Unlock emergency stop switch.
Battery is discharged. Jumpstart with a donor battery.
Machine is not activated. Activate machine.
Fuel tank is empty. Top up with fuel.
Fuel filter is dirty. Have the fuel filter replaced.*
Air cleaner is dirty. Replace air cleaner.
Starter is defective. Have the machine repaired. *
* Have these tasks carried out by the service department of your Wacker Neuson contact person.
Remote control, decoder, or
wiring harness is defective.
Have the machine repaired. *
Engine not running smoothly. Fuel filter is dirty. Have the fuel filter replaced.*
Air cleaner is dirty. Clean or replace air cleaner.
Vibration does not start. Electrical system is defective. Have the machine repaired. *
Motor smokes and does not
perform.
Air cleaner is dirty. Replace air cleaner.
Remote control is controlling
another machine.
Both machines are set to the
same transmission channel.
Change the transmission
channel on one machine.
Machine cannot be deactivated. Incorrect PIN entered. Enter the correct PIN.
Deactivate machine with
emergency stop switch.
Electrical system is defective. 1. Deactivate machine with
emergency stop switch.
2. Have the machine repaired. *
Diagnostic menu cannot be
called.
ON/OFF switch on the machine
not held for long enough or not
pressed strongly enough.
Hold down ON/OFF switch on
the machine for at least
3 uninterrupted seconds.
