(Special terminal system (USB, Dock)) –
U1. DOCK
This menu is used to test the DOCK connector without
the iPod itself. After turning off the power, short between
pins No. 14 (TX) and No. 18 (RX), between pins No. 1
(PWR) and No. 17 (ACCPOW) and between pins No. 4
(iPDET) and No. 8 (DGND). (Make sure that the power
is turned off when shorting pins.)
Start the self-diagnostic function and select the
menu.
The check result is displayed according to the follow-
ing display specifications.

iPod 本体無しで、DOCK コネクタの検査を行うメ
ニューです。
パワーオフ状態にしてから、DOCK コネクタの 14 ピ
ン（TX）と 18 ピン（RX）、1 ピン（PWR）と 17 ピン
（ACCPOW）、4ピン（iPDET）と8ピン（DGND）をショー
トさせます。（ショートさせる時は、必ず電源を切っ
てください。）
ダイアグを起動してメニューを選択します。
下記表示仕様に従って、チェック結果が表示されま
す。
注） 検査後、ショートしたピンを必ず元の状態に戻して
ください。
Note) Be sure to return the shorted pins to their origi-
nal condition after executing this test.
