CLUTCH
AND
RELEVANT
ITEMS
The clutch serves to engage or disengage the pow-
er generated by the engine with the power train,
and also
se~es as a shock absorber the
power train and the engine from being subjected
to
excessive loads.
The clutch fitted on this tractor is a dry, single
plate
type.diaphragm clutch.
It
can be operated
with light pressure and
it
provides positive en-

it
is
also endowed with more than ample dura-

Operating Principle
When the clutch pedal is depressed, the bearing
sleeve
is
moved through a clutch pedalPconsisting
of the clutch rod, the clutch release shaft, and the
clutch shift yoke.
The release bearing moves the diaphragm spring
(release lever), weakening the
prekure
of
the dia-
phragm spring, to disengage the motive power of
the engine from the power train.
