3 Functions and Features
Null (Relative)
The Null function subtracts a stored value from the present
measurement and displays the difference between the two.
1 Press to store the displayed reading as the
reference value to be subtracted from subsequent
measurements and to set the display to zero. is
displayed.
2 Press to view the stored reference value.
and the stored reference value are displayed for 3
seconds.
3 Press within the 3 seconds when and the
stored reference value is displayed to exit this mode.
NOTE
Null can be set for both auto and manual range settings, but not in the
case of an overload.
NOTE
In resistance measurement mode, the multimeter will read a non-zero
value even when the two test leads are in direct contact, because of
the resistance of these leads. Use the Null function to zero-adjust the
display.
In DC voltage measurement mode, thermal effects will influence the
accuracy. Short the test leads and press once the displayed value
is stable to zero-adjust the display.
