9. Remove the projector from the wooden support plate and finally remove the 3 extension tubes (reference 6). Use a 17 mm
wrench.

Save the original shipping carton and p acking material, they w ill be necessary if yo u ever have to ship you r
projector. F or maximum p rotection, repack your projector as it w as originally packed at t he factory.
A rubber foam inside a plastic bag is p laced into the lens opening of the projector. It’s recommended to reuse
this foam and plastic back each time you transport the projector. This to prevent intrusion of du st and foreign
particles.
The lens is delivered in a sep arate box. For
lens installation, see section “Lens & lens holder”.
2.3 Initial inspection
General
Before shipment, the projector was inspected and found to be free of mec hanical and electrical defects. As soon as the projector is
unpacked, inspect for any dam age that m ay have occurred in transit. Save all packing material until the inspection is com pleted. If
damage is found, file claim with ca rrier imm ediately. T he Barco S ales and S ervice office should be notified as soon as possible.
The packaging of the DP 2K C-series projector is provided with a sh ock-watch label. If this shock-watch la-
bel was triggered (red colore
d at arrival) during transport, indica tes that the p ackage was possibly roughly
handled by t he transport company. In this case, the instructions men tioned on the label, sho uld be followed,
which are: adding a note on the “bill of lading” and informing the transport company and the Barco sales and
service office as s oon as po
ssible.
